Let's take a trip back to where it all began. In the 1960s, Russell Gorden Harries and his wife Shirley Lorraine Harris set the stage for a magical experience that would captivate young audiences. With four boys and a girl, they lovingly named it the Harris Brothers Carnival, laying groundwork for a cherished legacy of family entertainment.  They first started with a quaint little Ferris wheel, a charming merry-go-round, and a big merry-go-round, along with rail train and a food canteen. The highlight was the big Ferris that drew in crowds from all around. The Harris family loved to travel throughout the South Island of New Zealand bringing joy and excitement to communities along the way. Their passion for created unforgettable memories for families everywhere!Join us as we celebrate those early days and the joy, they brought countless!
